Starting a couple weeks ago, I reached out to a bunch of indies (as many as I could find, really) asking to do a big Christmas game giveaway. I figured I'd get 10-25 games or so and it'd be a pretty huge giveaway... Boy was I wrong - NEVER underestimate the kindness and generosity of indie game developers!! I ended up getting over 70 different games worth over $625, and between the extra copies of games I've gotten, I have over 350 games to give away worth over $2,950 total!!!! That's absolutely mind-blowing to me, and I am incredibly humbled by it all. In fact, because I got so many games, I've expanded on the giveaway concept, turning it into over a dozen different giveaways.
The giveaway below is the SUPER HUGE giveaway - the giveaway that has one copy of each game. Each entry is optional, so you can pick and choose which ones you do, but most of them were chosen by the game developers themselves, so entering as many as you can helps support them and helps you keep up to date with all of their awesomeness!
You can click here if you want to see the grand list of games in the giveaway, or just enter below! Good luck, and don't forget to enter all of the other Christmas giveaways as well!
Note: One winner will be chosen at random. The giveaway is open worldwide. The winners will be emailed via their Rafflecopter email address once chosen, and will have three (3) days to reply to it. If you don't reply within the three days, a new winner will be chosen at random.

Indie Game: The Movie Sale
For those not familiar, Indie Game: The Movie is a really awesome movie about several indie game developers and some incredible moments along the way through the creation of their games. I haven't seen the movie since my birthday last year - it released June 12th, 2012 and my birthday is the 15th... I'd been psyched for it for months and it was the only thing I really wanted as a gift. I really need to watch it again and give it a proper review... But anyway, the movie is REALLY good and it's absolutely excellent for indie game developers, game players and makes a great way to introduce people who dislike games to the world of gaming. If you really want more info before you dive in, go check out the Wikipedia page.
Somehow, despite being a birthday gift a year and a half ago, I'm asking for it now again for Christmas. The original purchase was a download, and now it's moved on to DVD, Blu-Ray and even a special edition with OVER FIVE HOURS of footage! I'd absolutely love to see more about the developers and their stories!

Gamestop's Playday at Gamestop
Yes, I realize that taking your kids anywhere this close to Christmas where there are toys and video games makes your money disappear faster than setting it on fire, but I just had to write about this because it's so unique and fun, so bear with me! :D
You can check the webpage for more details and to verify that your location is doing it, but the email makes it sound like all of them will be. If you've got young gamers (or just want Disney Infinity or Skylanders yourself), go check it out!

Ti Cubes - Cool or Heat Awesomely!
There have been a lot of cool ways to cool things or make ice in the past, but Ti Cubes definitely have to be toward the top of the list. These are actual cubes of 100% pure, aircraft grade titanium that's food safe and hypo-allergenic. Plus, since they're titanium, they can not only make your drinks stay cold, they can keep your drinks hot too, all without adding any off flavor or melting!

Elliot Quest - Kid Icarus Meets Platformer Action RPG
When I first saw Elliot's Quest I was a bit worried by how the developer mentioned a few times that it was inspired by Zelda II. I always thought there were a few cool parts to the game, but I really didn't like it - it was too difficult and I just never really got into it. The completionist side of me wanted to level everything up, and the way the battles happened, it would take foreeeeeever to do it! There was something about Elliot's Quest, though, that I was really interested in, and I'm really glad I gave the demo a try. Note: it's a web demo so there's no install or download, although I did have to refresh the page a couple times to get it running properly.
Tassimo Brewer and Coffee Giveaway!
The blog was not compensated in any way for this post.
This Giveaway is sponsored by #Tassimo and Hosted by It's Peachy Keen. Also CO-Hosted by My Couponing Life and Oh Just Stop Already.
What is a Tassimo Brewer?
#TASSIMO is a one-cup, on-demand beverage system that uses INTELLIBREWTM to make sure every cup is brewed using the right amount of water, the right temperature and the right brew time.
" I can say as a #Tassimo lover that is is amazing. I have no need to go out for a special coffee or drink. They are made perfect in the kitchen now. Also I click the button on and the machine is ready to go. No waiting for the water to get hot or it to be ready to brew. It is instant. With my mornings being as hectic as they are with three little kids wanting my attention. I need something fast and convenient. #Tassimo is both. While their coffee selection isn't HUGE yet they are growing a lot and all the coffee products they do offer really hit the spot on quality and tastiness. "
What is a T Disc? You know the kind of coffee pod the machine uses!....
The ingenious #TASSIMO Disc pod (T DISC) was developed exclusively for use with #TASSIMO single cup brewers. Each T DISC contains an expertly measured portion of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or liquid milk creamer. When the T DISC is inserted, the #TASSIMO single cup brewer uses INTELLIBREWTM to read the barcode printed on the label. The code specifies beverage size, brewing time and optimal temperature required to prepare the beverage. All the brewing occurs inside the T DISC, ensuring perfect quality in every cup.
" The #Tassimo is not just any kind of coffee brewer it is amazing. It creates the perfect cup of coffee for you no matter what type of drink you are looking for. It is a brewer and makes all kinds of drinks. I enjoy Lattes, Cappuccinos, Chair Tea, Teas, Hot Chocolate, and much more. It's a brewer my whole family can use. It's not just for coffee lovers. The #Tassimo brewer Also comes with a disc you can use to clean the machine out. That is awesome to me because I like to know I drinking from a clean machine. "

Dyscourse - An Island Survival Game Where Choices MATTER!
Dyscourse looks to be an awesome combination of survival, adventure, humor, action and story. You're Rita, one of numerous survivors of a plane crash who suddenly ends up having to make lots of tough decisions and survive with the jerks who were kicking your seat and squishing you in the plane. As the developer states, it's up to you whether you want to work with the other survivors to try to make it together or leave them to their own devices and try to make it on your own. Unlike other games, however, this isn't an either/or choice where you'll basically only play one of two different games either with or without computer AI.

Budget $ This - A Board Game to Teach Budgeting!
These days, far too many people's knowledge of a budget is simply knowing how much money is left until they max out their credit card(s). Heck, there's even a version of Monopoly that uses a card for "electronic banking"! Sure, it could be similar to a debit card, and debit cards are far from evil, but the point is that even board games are moving further and further away from secretly teaching while having fun. Budget $ This looks to fix that!

Apexicon - Scrabble-meets-RPG!
The best way to describe Apexicon is a clash between Scrabble and RPG, or for gamers who are familiar with the titles, Bookworm Adventures meets Puzzle Quest. The concept is simple: you're given letter tiles, and the bigger the word you can spell with them the more damage you'll do to your enemy. Spelling words beginning with a green tile will end up healing you instead of hurting your enemy, and other skills can change tiles to where they do more damage or (theoretically) all kinds of things!

WackoBirds - An Action/Arcade Title by a Painter!
Don't let the name trick you - there are plenty of games with the word "Birds" in it that are clones of Angry Birds (not that all of them are bad, per se) - WackoBirds is an entirely different game! Yes, the protagonist is a bird, and yes you're fighting back against tyrannical foes trying to reclaim your lands, but you'll be doing so by creating barriers for your WackoBird to bounce off of on the fly instead of simply aiming and hoping for the best.

Vexation Vacation Review AND GIVEAWAY - Bad Vacation, Good Adventure Game!
![]() |
| Yep, that's definitely one of the first signs of a horrible vacation - when your eyes need to be bleached. |
That is, of course, until Vexation Vacation. The game has everything going on that will remind you of any horrid vacations you may have had as a child: the long car ride where your primary entertainment is asking if you're there yet, people who REALLY shouldn't be in skimpy beach clothes and birds that love to poop all over you from high above. Oh, and a younger sibling who energetically follows you, babbles on and takes your things from time to time.

Charity Game Jam II Turbo Coming November 23-30!
![]() |
| The awesomest promo image for a game jam ever, btw. |
One Game a Month and Games for Change, two really awesome things on their own, are coming together this time around for Charity Game Jam II Turbo! The concept is really simple but really great - game developers can make a game specifically for the CGJ or edit one they've already made, but either way the game needs a "Donate to Charity" button that's been specifically made within the game. This link can go to any charity that the developer chooses! With any luck, this will not only get a bunch of fun indie games made and shared, it'll help raise money for charities as well!
But don't just take it from me, check out the keynote video below!
I plan on making a game for this myself, although I still have no idea what I'll make... If you're a fellow game developer, I really hope you'll try to come up with something too! Regardless, however, expect some fun, creative games to be listed on the site soon! :D
